EVERY STUDENT REACHED
"I want God in my life, I want to feel Him. Could you please help me build a relationship with Him? I really want one." These were the exciting words I read in an email from a student off of http://www.everystudent.com. Tragedy and hardship in the recent past had spurred her on in her search. I was so excited and blessed to be able to share the Gospel message with her and explain how to begin a relationship with God.
Not long after, I received her reply. "That night I prayed and woke up happy and felt something different." She and I have begun to write back and forth and she is definitely growing in her faith. More than anything, she wants to hear God’s voice in her life and to follow it.
Students are ripe and ready to hear the Gospel. Praise God for His work in their lives.
EVERY STUDENT REACHING STUDENTS
A little over a year ago, at Atlanta Christmas Conference 2004, the Southeast Student Evangelism Fund was created to provide financial resources for students to reach their campus with the Gospel.
The fund is made available to students wishing to do some form of outreach. We promo’d the fund again at Christmas Conference this past year with awesome results. I’ve had the joy of administering the blog (weblog, kind of like an online journal) that students request funding through and post the results of their outreach on.
We’ve already had 12 requests to fund different outreaches. Here are just a few of the incredible ideas students are moving forward with:
· University of Florida: A film festival on spirituality. They are also bringing a group of Christian wakeboarders out to Lake Wauberg to put on an exhibition and share their testimonies.
· University of Georgia: A basketball tournament and a trivia night.
· Ole Miss: Bibles for seeking international students involved in an international student Bible study.
· Atlanta Metro Campuses: They brought in speaker Michael Leahy to discuss pornography and how it influences the lives of college students, as well as to share his testimony.
Porn Nation Event at Georgia Tech
It was awesome to see God working in student’s lives firsthand through the Porn Nation event put on by the Atlanta Metro students and staff.
Fellow Crusade Staff Marti and I at the
Georgia Tech Porn Nation Event.
As a result of the presentation and Michael Leahy’s testimony, 10 students at Kennesaw State University and 5 students at Georgia Tech came to Christ. Even more had yet another chance to hear the Gospel in a very clear manner.

EVERY STUDENT SENT
"Lord, how does my life fit into Your will?"
College juniors, seniors, and graduate students from all over the Southeast came to Atlanta this past weekend for Life Options 2006. This was a conference designed to help students find God's will and direction for life after college. They received a Biblical perspective in the area of career and life choices through awesome talks and seminars.
Roger Hershey, on Crusade staff at Penn State, gave some awesome talks, including one on eternal perspective. Roger emphasized that God has called every believer to the mission field, whether that’s in the workforce or in full-time ministry.
Worship at Life Options 2006
These talks were supplemented by seminars on life after college, having a ministry in the workplace, and opportunities for full-time Christian ministry. Please pray that each one of the students that attended would seek God’s direction for their lives and be impassioned to reach the lost and live for His glory wherever He leads them.
LABORERS GALORE!
For the last two years as I’ve worked alongside men and women excited for what God will do in and through the lives of college students, one of our prayers has been for more laborers on our team.
One year ago, our team consisted of myself and three others. Today, there are twelve members, each using their giftings to resource the staff on campus and reach students for Christ.
